Save Money With these Tips for Cornerstone on the Cheap!

1. Bring your own non-perishable food and water: A granola bar, piece of fruit, and coffee is a cheap and nutritious breakfast. Canned nuts, fish, seafood, beef jerky, peanut butter, crackers, etc, are tasty and filling. Stores frequently have sales on bottled water, and you can save huge amounts of money by bringing your own water to the fest.

2. Volunteer at the fest: you can save half or the entire ticket price by volunteering at the fest. You have to sign up in advance, so go to the official fest website to find out more.

3. Go to the fest with a group: share the cost of gas, your camping gear and buy food in bulk.

4. Share a ride with someone: The Cornerstone ride board is a great resource.

5. Don't assume that train or bus travel is necessarily cheaper than air travel. Keep in mind that if you are going to be on the train or bus more than a few hours, you are going to have to pay for meals, drinks, etc. You may also have to take more time off work.

6. Head over to your local dollar store. They frequently have things like paper plates, cheap barbeque utensils, paper towels, snacks, and other useful items.
